About

The Biodiversity Heritage Library for Europe (BHL-Europe) is a 3-year project co-funded under the Community Programme eContentplus. BHL-Europe makes European biodiversity knowledge freely available globally to everyone. We are mobilising and preserving digital European biodiversity heritage literature and facilitating the open access to this literature through a multilingual community portal, the Global Reference Index to Biodiversity, and Europeana.

The official end of the project is 30 April 2012, but we have planned the final events and meetings for June 2012. Registration is now open FOR FREE until 22 April 2012:
